Poem

Arachnid

Dec 31, 2024 | Poem

what a tangled web we weave the silk of our thoughts feelings hopes and dreams a perfect structure that we can’t bear to leave, until it’s complete and time has slipped through its seams

eight legs working overtime, never satisfied a focus so complete it shuts out reality waiting until the moment is right, sharp-eyed not noticing our impending mortality
